AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF SMITH COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, AND THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE TOWN OF TAYLORSVILLE, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE VETERANS MEMORIAL MUSEUM, INCORPORATED; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Smith County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to contribute funds, from any available funds, up to a maximum amount of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) per calendar year, to the Veterans Memorial Museum, Incorporated.
SECTION 2. The governing authorities of the Town of Taylorsville, Mississippi, in their discretion, are authorized to contribute funds, from any available funds, up to a maximum amount of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) per calendar year, to the Veterans Memorial Museum, Incorporated.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and shall be repealed from and after July 1, 2004.
